I can't believe how close we are getting to having a special new spirit here in our home! We are so excited to see our little slugger. My mom threw me a shower at her lovely home for close family and a few friends. I couldn't have been more pleased with the selection of food that she assigned (of course I had a little {or a lot} of everything. Each one of my sisters made my favorite foods and it was pure heaven. My amazing Mother and Sisters put forth a ton of time and effort to make my shower special and it showed. The decor and home was amazing, the food (have I mentioned food yet?) was wonderful, and the night was so enjoyable for me. It was so overwhelmingly special, I cried on the way home. Go figure.
Thanks everyone for all of the wonderful gifts and thoughtfulness that you have given Me and Jens and our new little-one-to-be. Dad, I couldn't be more thankful for the beautiful poem that you wrote. It is such a special keepsake and one day "Jace" will be able to read it for himself. Oh, and thanks alot for making almost everyone at the shower tear up. I am so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends in my life. It makes everyday so special and Jens and I always feel so loved by you all. We are so excited to welcome our little one here on earth. ETA: December 6th.
